Since the advent of the computer age, it was and has been the dreams of few like Alan Turing, regarded as the father of computer science and artificial intelligence for the development of a machine that could not only deduce and decipher but also “think” by itself to analyze, determine & implement on its own without the human interference would surely be the zenith of technology. Artificial Intelligence, which is regarded as the Fight and the latest Generation of the computer age.

It is one of the most complex, wide-ranging, unexplored, vastly deep and most intriguing creations of technology by us without even scratching the surface. Artificial Intelligence although developed by humans but it has been made into a self-aware, self-determining and self-implementing object depending upon the needs of its surrounding, AI has the capability to self respond how and when exactly as required depending upon what the situation is, just like a human does or sometimes even better than humans. It is a miracle and pinnacle of information technology development.

Importance Of Artificial Intelligence

Given below is the importance of Artificial Intelligence:

• As the world heads into the future, it will become more fast and complicated far beyond human comprehension and our ability to understand, interpret, and make complex decisions. The need for AI is paramount to make our lives easier through various mediums like apps, gadgets, and tools to mold this world into a far better one than the current one. Unknowingly we are already benefitting and have benefitted with the presence of AI around us from minuscule to bigger tasks by reducing the human effort to a large extent and also smoothened & bettered our performances due to the presence of many AI-based technologies and AI programmed tools and applications. 
• The presence of AI is significant, as it faces and outperforms an array of technical challenges and produces a much better and surreal result far advanced compared to human performances and much better than software tools without AI backing. AI-backed tools and software and gadgets produce far better results qualitatively and quantitatively compared to normally backed software or human efforts.
• AI is capable of deducing, deciphering large and vast amounts of unstructured, disorganized, under-developed and different kinds of data into a much simplified, organized, structured and in pattern easily understandable for human capabilities. It works with great precision and accuracy for making the world an error-free place through its advanced yet simplified tools and techniques. 
• Overall, these capabilities will create new opportunities and a stepping stone future for business decision making, business processes and consumer applications.

Types Of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is divided into specific two types, which are Types of Learning in Artificial Intelligence and overall Types of AI.

Types of learning in AI are:

• Artificial Narrow Intelligence
• Artificial General Intelligence
• Artificial Super Intelligence

These are the three stages through which AI has evolved through time. From being a weak AI (Artificial Narrow Intelligence) not being able to think for itself and performing only to a predefined set of task to a strong AI (Artificial General Intelligence) where it can perform task equal to humans and capable of thinking by itself and now AI has reached a stage where it is not only capable of thinking but performing tasks beyond human comprehension (Artificial Super Intelligence) although far away from practical applications and real-world applications.

Different types of AI:

• Reactive Machines AI
• Limited Memory AI
• Theory of Mind AI
• Self-Aware AI

1. Reactive Machines AI: It works on current data are taking into account the latest information and can work with narrow pre-defined tasks only without predicting their future consequences.

2. Limited Memory AI: As the name suggests can only work with short or an interim memory which is more temporary in nature to make sophisticated and well-informed and improved decisions.

3. Theory of Mind AI: It is more advanced and categorically is involved in a much important role in psychology, moreover human psychology to better understand and decipher and predict and comprehend human behaviors and thinking and their nature’s.

4. Self-aware AI: This has seen its day in the real world that is a self-thinking, self-aware and self-capable AI with its own consciousness, the likes of which we can only see in Hollywood movies currently. This last one has developed doubt, fear, and confusion and even to some with positive intuitions with its potential unpredictable effects if and when it comes to actual existence.

Where Is AI Currently Being Used?

A few of the important areas where AI has been implemented successfully and produced outstanding results are:

• The Medical or Healthcare System, AI has totally revolutionized the medical system around the world by implementing machine learning programming models and applications and automated bots and virtual assisting 24/7 interfaces to help in successful operations, proper diagnosis, pre-determining procedures and healthcare module to help patients improve and get better in a far better responsive manner than previously without AI.
• AI has also been used in Agriculture Industry widely, in the same manner, using sophisticated tools and algorithms and developing and recognizing patterns using AI-backed software to help farmers to plant seeds, cultivate crops and use pesticides and other material for the better development of crops accordingly i.e. when and how among other uses. 
• AI is being used extensively in maintaining and predicting Traffic patterns to increase passenger and vehicle safety by helping decrease accidents and unnecessary congestions and traffic jams.
• Similarly, just like in roadway and traffic safety, AI has been continuously implemented in Air Transport which is solely based on digital and internet platforms to help airplanes to navigate pre-determined flight paths, store air traffic log data, taxing and taking off and landing on runways and communications. It has completed changed and simply eased the face of the airline industry overall.
• Banking and Financial Institutions with the advent of digitization and cashless interfaces have become heavily dependent on AI-based technologies and tools and software that handle financial transactions and operations, stock market and share market activities, and anti-money laundering and financial scams. AI has single-handedly and completely changed the face of the Banking and Financial Industry for the far better and easement for everyday people of the world.

Conclusion

Artificial Intelligence, it has not only eased but has bettered our everyday life beyond comprehension and our capability of understanding everywhere. It in its current form is helping us perform miracles and advancement and growth and produce results that are far ahead of normal human capabilities without even reaching its absolute potential. As is computerized terms Artificial Intelligence is still in its testing phases and developments a novice in technology terms compared to its actual ocean of untapped and yet-to-be-discovered capacity and power. Although it has been ascertained also by likes of Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and even Lt. Stephen Hawkings has warned us about the uncertain future forms and evolutions of AI could and might have an adverse effect on humans also with likes of Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook having different and rather positive claims regarding the future of Artificial Intelligence advancement.
