Introduction To SSAT Exam

The Enrolment Management Association has already declared the dates for SSAT Exam 2021 and 2022. As the entire world is coming back to its routine, the exams are being conducted worldwide. SSAT Exams are the opening gates for grabbing a seat in the elite middle or high schools especially in the US, UK. But this test is accredited worldwide, so, if you also want to grab a seat, then do registration and start the preparation.

What Is SSAT?

SSAT or Secondary School Admission Test is the standardized test that is considered as an entry point to seek admission in independent schools from grades 3 to 11.

The exam is conducted at three levels: elementary, middle, and upper level. Depending upon your education level, you can apply for the SSAT exams. For applicants from India, the SSAT Fees are $247 (INR 17529). Students can accomplish online registration without any hassle.

The nature of SSAT exam is divided into the following sections:

• Quantitive aptitude
• Reading comprehension
• Verbal reasoning
• 1 unscored question for essay writing

SSAT Exam Is For?

SSAT Exam is a standard entrance test for getting admissions in independent schools at middle or higher-level schools.

Students can take the entrance test at various education levels.

The levels are divided into educational levels:

• Elementary level: For classes 3 and 4
• Middle level: For classes 5 to 7
• Upper level: For classes 8 to 11

SSAT Exam Dates 2022

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the schedule for SSAT exam was shattered. But the ray of hope continues and everything is coming slowly on the normal.

SSAT Exam Registration

Students can register for SSAT Exam using online mode.

There are two options available for SSAT Exam registration:

• Registering for national test date
• Flex test administration

Students need to visit the official website of SSAT for registration. According to rules, students are allowed to take only one flex test admission per year. Check your fees to be paid based on the level you are applying for. It is $90 for elementary level whereas $149 for middle and upper level.

The registration deadlines are bounded by three types:

• Regular registration: Regular deadlines are before 3 weeks of actual test dates.
• Late registration: Few days before the actual test date.
• Rush registration: When both regular and late registration are missed, students can opt for rush registration. This is typically two weeks before actual test date. This is based on availability so one cannot confirm the seat.
