The third stage of the exam is group exercise and interview, group exercise having 20 marks and the interview has 30 marks. Marks are obtained in the Main exam will be added into the interview phase and the merit list prepared accordingly for the final selection.
SBI PO Exam Date And Selection Process
For 2021 to 2022 will be expected in September 2021 tentatively. It has two sections called Preliminary and main exam it will be conducted online. After that, the interview will be conducted for the final selection of the post.
- SBI Preliminary Exam: This is the initial stage of the exam to test the aspirant’s general knowledge. It has multiple choice questions conducted for one hour. Questions are asked from English language, Reasoning ability, Quantitative Aptitude. In the preliminary exam, the only overall cut-off will be considered, which means there is no sectional cutoff.
- SBI PO Mains: Aspirants who clear SBI preliminary exam, will be called for the SBI PO Main Exam. It has two stages, in the first stage, multiple-choice questions were asked from English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Computers, General awareness including banking knowledge. Once finish the objective test, the second stage of SBI PO Mains called the Descriptive Test will be conducted immediately, it has 50 marks. A merit list is prepared category-wise based on total marks scored in the main exam.
- SBI Interview: Candidates who clear SBI PO Main Exam will be called for the interview. This stage is the main deciding factor for final selection. The final selection will be prepared based on the SBI Main PO Exam and interview.
