Railway Recruitment Board conducts several exams to select the candidates for various posts in Railways. Group C posts of the Railway Department can be handled by the Railway Recruitment Board in short form RRB, and Group D posts or Railway Department can be handled by the Railway Recruitment Cells in short form RRC. 3. Railway exam pattern
Railway Recruitment Board NTPC Exam pattern has the following stages:
- Computer-Based Ist Stage Test: In the first stage of the Computer-based test, a total of 100 questions are asked from the Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness for 100 marks.
- Stage Test: Only qualified candidates from Stage one of the Computer-based test can select for the second stage of the Computer-based test. In this second stage, a total of 120 questions are asked from the General Intelligence, Reasoning, Mathematics, General Awareness, and Current Affairs for 120 marks.
- Typing Skill Test: Candidates who can clear the second stage of the computer-based test can qualify for the Typing Skill Test. In this stage, candidates need to type 30 WPM in English and 25 WPM in Hindi.
- Document Verification: Based on the merit list of previous stages of the exam, candidates are selected for the document verification.
- Medical Examination: After Document verification, candidates need to prove their physical fitness for desired vacancies.
- Final Selection: After Medical Examination, candidates are finally selected for desired posts.
