Introduction To NDA Age Limit
The following article provides an outline for NDA Age Limit. NDA (National Defense Academy) exam will be held twice a year in 2 phases. The exam is administrated by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The main aim of the exam is to recruit candidates for military services i.e. Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Once the exam is completed, selected candidates will be given training by the Institute of Indian Armed Forces. Candidates will enroll for training for about 3 years in Khadakwasla. After the training, they will be moved to pre-commission training of their choice in AFA, INA, IMA, or OTA. Finally, they pass out as Lieutenant, Sub-Lieutenant, and Flying officer.

2. Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for an exam is 18.7 and the minimum age limit is 15.7 years.
- The date of birth is verified from the secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) or equivalent only.
3. Gender
- It is to be noted that only unmarried male is eligible for NDA exam.
- If found that any candidate has married after entering the NDA, then he will be liable to repay all the expenses bared.
- This restriction is only till the complete training in NDA is completed.
4. Educational Qualification
- Candidate should have completed the 12th or equivalent for appearing for exam.
- Candidate need to have completed 12th or equivalent in physics, chemistry and mathematics for entering into Air Force and Naval wings.
5. Physical Standards
- Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards set by the NDA.
