Introduction To ISEE Test

The following article provides an outline for ISEE Test Registration. ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination), administrated by Educational Records Bureau is helpful for the student getting admission into private schools in the USA. ISEE evaluates student’s performance based on critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and basic english knowledge. All the scores will be generalized and termed in the form of the stanine score. These scores are sent to schools and they will decide whether to admit the student or not. The exam will be conducted for 4 different types of students i.e., primary (2^nd to 4^th grade), lower (5^th and 6^th grade), middle (7^th and 8^th grade), and higher (9^th to 12^th grade). The exam is conducted 3 times a year and student can choose their exam window. Once decided, students need to register for the exam on the ISEE website.

For writing the ISEE exam, applicants need to have a parent’s account, student’s account, choose the schools, make necessary payments and get at last get the details of the exam. Students need to know that the exam will be conducted 3 times a year and need to time their preparation and registration by keeping it into account.

The exam timeline is as follows:

• Summer/Spring: (April to July)
• Fall: (August to November)
• Winter: (December to March)

Signup Guide

Given below is the signup guide:

• Parent account creation: The first step in attempting the ISEE exam is the creation of a parent’s account. Thus, a guardian or a parent is a must for the exam. Parents need to visit the official website for registering their children for the ISEE exam. Fill and submit all the details and get the confirmation through the mail.
• Student’s account creation: Once the parent’s account is created, the student’s account can be created. All the details of students like age, grade, etc need to be given and submitted. After successful registration, the student’s profile will be added to the dashboard.
• Choose your exam date: ISEE exam will be conducted 3 times a year. Applicant needs to register for the exam he/she is willing to take. Visit the ISEE page and get the latest dates and venue for the exam.
• Pay the exam fee and choose the school: Once the date and venue are chosen, the page will be directed to payments. After payment, students need to choose the schools they want to get admission and after the exam, the student’s exam performance will be submitted to the school they have applied.
• Late registration: Parents should make sure that registration should be made within the deadline, else there will be a late registration fee of $30.
