Important Notes
The age limit is relaxed for certain reservation and it varies on a case to case basis. Accordingly, these individuals will have an expanded age limit than normal.

Age limit criteria will vary for different posts, reservations, departments, and exams. The table gives a general idea of relaxation. Its recommended to refer the official notification for detailed information for all the types. For educational qualifications, usually, it will be 10th or 12th or Degree.
But for certain exams and posts, there will be specific requirements or alternative requirements along with qualifications, such as:
- Minimum 60% in mathematics/statistics for Statistical Investigator.
- CA/CS are alternative qualifications for Assistant Audit other than Bachelor’s degree.
- For JE, the candidate has to complete Degree or diploma only in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering. Each post has any one of these as qualification criteria. For the Inspector and related posts, physical fitness will be considered as one of the criteria.

Exam Dates of SSC Exam
The following table gives the exam dates SSC CGL:
- Last date for online application: 31-JAN-2021.
- Last date for receipt of online application: 31-JAN-2021 (23:30).
- Last date for online payment: 02-FEB-2021.
- Last date for generation of offline challan: 04-FEB-2021.
- Last date for payment through challan: 6-FEB-2021.
- CBT Tier 1 test: 29-MAY-2021 to 07-JUNE-2021.
