CDS or Combined Defense Service Exams are also being held in India to recruit Commissioned Officers in the various Academies of the Indian Defense. What Is Defense CDS Exam?
Every year, the Union Public Service Commission arranges the CDS Exams to recruit candidates as Commissioned Officers in the month of February and September. A written exam followed by a personality and intelligence test is the nature of the exam. Both male and female candidates can apply for the exam but some posts are limited to male candidates only.

Female candidates can apply for Officers Training Academy only. Other streams are not allowed women to apply through CDS.

2. CDS Eligibility For Male
