What Is CAT Exam?

For CAT 2021 also, it is expected to follow the same structure as CAT 2020.

Follow the registration process:
- Visit the official website of the CAT 2021 exam.
- Enter the details required like Email ID, contact number, birth date.
After successful registration, conducting body will send an ID and password to complete the application process.
This ID and password are used throughout the application process for further communication so students are advised to provide working Email Id and contact numbers. After registration, students can progress to application form filling.
- Students need to submit the necessary details like personal details, academic details, work experience if applicable, exam center preference, program preference.
- Be ready with scanned copies of required documents like passport size photo, signature. Students from reserved categories need to provide the relevant documents.
- Complete the application process by paying the exam fees through an online mode of transaction. For the general/OBC category, the exam fee is INR 2000 and for SC/ST/PwD, it is INR 1000.

CAT exam is a computer-based Mode (CBT) test that is conducted online.
