BPSC conducts Bihar state level entrance examination for selection of candidates for Bihar civil services. The responsibility of the BPSC is to select the eligible candidates through the exam in 3 phases prelims, mains, and interview, and also giving interdepartmental promotions for eligible employees. The departments for which BPSC conducts the exam include Bihar administrative services, finance, police, planning commission, rural and urban development, state government projects, etc.
BPSC exam is the toughest recruitment exam at the state level.
