What Is BPSC?

Bihar Public Service Commission is the state level constitutional body that is responsible for:

BPSC Prelim Exam Syllabus

• The prelim exam is the first level of the entire exam process and it acts as a first-level filter for scrutinizing deserving candidates.
• The nature of the exam is objective and the exam is carried out in offline mode.
• Candidates will get 2 hours duration for BPSC Prelim exam and carries 150 marks.

BPSC Main Exam Syllabus

• The candidates who succeed to get qualifying marks in the Prelim papers are eligible for the BPSC Main exam.
• The exam consists of 1 qualifying paper of General Hindi and two papers based on General studies. Candidates need to select one optional paper from the given list of subjects.
• All these papers are for 3 hours and carry 300 marks except Hindi which carries 100 marks.
