Introduction To BPSC Exam Pattern
The following article provides an outline for BPSC Exam Pattern. BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) exam is the highest honored state-level entrance exam for the civil servant aspirants for Bihar state. BPSC is a state government organization which is set up by the Indian constitution to select the right candidates for Bihar civil services and also BPSC takes responsibility in promoting the eligible employees in the government departments like police, education department, human welfare, finance, civil administration, revenue, etc. The selection process includes a written exam & interview.
Candidates will take prelim exams before appearing to the main exam and after qualified in mains, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Preparing for the BPSC exam is quite similar to IAS, should be thorough with all academic subjects, general knowledge, current state, national and international events, aptitudes, etc. Though the BPSC exam is tougher, strong dedication and focused study help in cracking this exam. BPSC selects the candidates as required by the state government. It calls for the exam by giving public advertisements. Nearly 2-3 lakhs aspirants apply for this. Aspirants will first take the prelims exam, then qualified candidates are allowed to write mains and the final round will be the interview. 3. Interview
- Candidates who have scored cutoff marks will be eligible for the final interview.
- The final interview carried 120 marks.
- Thus, the final merit score will be calculated for 300 300 300 120 = 1020 marks.
- The interview is conducted to check the personality and character of the candidate. Candidates will be tested with the basic aptitude and decision-making skills.
- Once the final merit list is out, candidates will be selected for recruitment as per the posts.
