Eligibility For CAPF
There are strict evaluations for the post of Assistant Commandant through the exam of CAPF. The conducting body strictly monitors the eligibility criteria and assesses the candidates based on that. An applicant who matches the criteria perfectly can only move further in the process.
1. Nationality
- Applying candidate must have permanent citizenship of India.
- He/she must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
2. Age Limits
- The candidate’s age must be between 20-25. OBC candidates can get an exemption of 3 years on the upper age limit.
- Only SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates can get the exemption of a maximum of 5 years on the upper limit of age.
- Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir residing there from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989, can get the exemption of a maximum of 5 years on the upper limit of age.
- The applicant should have an age ranging between 02 August 1993 to 01 August 1998.
3. Educational Qualification
The candidate applying for CAPF exam 2021 must possess a passing degree of bachelor’s course from the recognized university.

CAPF Results
For the year 2021, CAPF 2021 exam is held for a total of 159 posts across India. According to the advertisement, notification was released on 15th April 2021 by the conducting body UPSC. The written exam was held on 08 August 2021 and candidates are now waiting for the results.
